Some facts

  • Network launch: 5/15/2019 15:05:00 UTC
  • Release of the BTCSECURE coin and the loyalty program launch: 5/15/2019 15:05:02 UTC
  • Participating wallet addresses: 222

The loyalty program of BTC.Secure and BTC.Secure 2.0 lowers the delegation fee when a certain amount of BTCSECURE is delegated. Applies to all delegated stakes and is active in both validators simultaneously.

Loyalty program conditions:

  • 9% on the entire stake upon delegation of 50 000 to 100 000 BTCSECURE
  • 8% on the entire stake upon delegation of 100 000 to 1 000 000 BTCSECURE
  • 7% on the entire stake upon delegation of 1 000 000 to 10 000 000 BTCSECURE
  • 6% on the entire stake upon delegation of 10 000 000 to 100 000 000 BTCSECURE
  • 5% on the entire stake upon delegation of 100 000 000 BTCSECURE

If you’ve delegated 300 000 BTCSECURE to BTC.Secure and 700 000 BTCSECURE to BTC.Secure 2.0, the stakes are summed up and you get a lowered fee of 7% for your entire stake in both validators (both stakes in BIP and in custom coins).

Advantages

Let’s say you have 1 000 000 BIP and you want to delegate it to BTC.Secure 2.0 to get a passive income.

If you just delegate all the BIP without participating in our program:

  • Stake: 1 000 000 BIP
  • Stake price in BIP: 1 000 000
  • Validator fee: 10%
  • Monthly income: ~ 36 626 BIP

If you spend 100 000 BIP on BTCSECURE and delegate the remaining 900 000 BIP to the validator:

  • Stake: 900 000 BIP and 1 668 981 BTCSECURE
  • Stake price in BIP: 969 000
  • Validator fee: 7%
  • Monthly income: ~ 36 674 BIP

Result: with a lower stake in BIP, the income is still higher. It may seem like the profitability difference is negligible, but the fact is it matters, and the most important advantages are that first, when delegating BTCSECURE, you get privileges in different projects from BTC.Secure (access to private channels etc.), and second, the price of BTCSECURE will rise (already 400% up from the initial value), which means your stake price in BIP will rise too, and with it, your profit.

What does the lowered fee look like?

A validator specifies a fee when it launches. That fee applies to all delegators, even those participating in the loyalty program. The lowered fee works in the form of daily cashbacks to every address participating in the loyalty program.

Let’s give you an example:

Let’s say your delegated stake in BTC.Secure 2.0 is 1 000 000 BTCSECURE, which lowers your fee down to 7% (instead of the default 10% fee)

Your daily reward is 10 000 BIP minus the 10% default fee (1 000 BIP), meaning your wallet receives 9 000 BIP

Your fee is 7%, so 3% (300 BIP) returns to your wallet as a cashback daily at 5:30 a.m. UTC
